Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Reports To: VP of Sales / Sales & Marketing Coordinator
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential new business opportunities for our services. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, helping to introduce our solutions and setting the stage for meaningful sales conversations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified leads.
- Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries generated by marketing campaigns or referrals.
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings for Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and activities in the CRM (Salesforce).
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness.
- Research target accounts and stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Help identify decision-makers and understand prospects’ pain points, IT infrastructure, and business needs.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of sales, lead generation, or customer-facing experience (B2B preferred).
- Interest in technology and understanding of basic IT concepts (e.g., IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, data protection, cybersecurity).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools is a plus (Salesforce).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the IT services or MSP industry.
- Understanding of the sales cycle for technology solutions.
- Familiarity with tools such as ZoomInfo, or similar.
