The Cloud Account Executive position is responsible for driving growth of Public Cloud related business through penetration of new accounts by promoting and selling the Public Cloud related service and solutions offerings.  These include, but are not limited to, VAST View Public Cloud Managed Services (Optimization, Governance, Security, etc), Public Cloud related Professional Services, Microsoft Office 365 related Services, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions, and Hybrid Cloud Solutions.

Primary partners and platforms in our cloud practice today include Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, CloudHealth, Bitglass, Microsoft Office 365, and Oracle Cloud.

Primary Job Competency Requirements

  • Prior sales experience with Public Cloud Providers (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform) or prior sales experience with Cloud Management Platforms (CMP)
  • Experience using a consultative sales approach
  • Solid business acumen and communication skills
  • Track record of successful prospecting and lead management
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives and quotas
  • Proven account and opportunity management skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customer IT and business leadership
  • Established relationships with customer decision makers
  • Established public cloud provider relationships and network
  • Strong technical understanding of public cloud technologies, terminology, and trends
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and leverage resources when needed

Other Requirements

Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 5 years of enterprise information technology field sales     experience, with prior public cloud experience
